USMC 2nd Pattern M1955 Flak Jacket

As Brick Warp gears up to start exploring Vietnam, I am offering a select range of prototype uniforms and equipment pieces as I design them to later utilize in complete minifigures. These products are perfect for kitbashing your own minifigures, or augmenting your collection as I continue to roll out more variety! 

The Marine Corps' M1955 flak jacket replaced their M1952 body armor first fielded during the Korean War. The vest had a zip front closure, an integral cartridge belt holder for attaching equipment and a rifle guard over the right shoulder to assist in aiming without the rifle slipping away as well as retaining the rifle while slung. 

For this example I've recreated the 2nd pattern jackets notably used in the Hue city battle. These jackets were tailor upgraded with nylon pockets added to the front of earlier damaged vests sent to the rear for recycling. Each torso is shipped as pictured, without arms or hands, so you can choose whether to add flesh tone arms, short sleeves, or jungle jacket arms yourself. I've also texture printed the pockets and rifle loop on each torso to give a more realistic three dimensional effect to what was originally a very bulky piece of equipment. 

Again, you receive one wrap around and texture printed torso as pictured without arms or hands.
